Describe your vision for 2016?

2016 for me is all about perfecting our customer experience and improving people’s lives.

What challenges do you think you will face in the year ahead? As a startup, every day is a challenge really, but 3 main areas are at the forefront of our minds:

  • Growing pains; i.e. maintaining high standards of service when we grow to hundreds of Spaahristas.
  • Brand awareness; in other words, how do we reach as many busy Londoners as possible.
  • Avoiding burnout; trying to build a successful company is a 24/7 job, and I’m often having dinner with my MacBook instead of my husband. So finding a right balance between work and personal life is high on my list of resolutions.

Are you worried about increased competition? Competition is always going to be there, whether we worry about it or not. We prefer to focus on delivering an excellent customer experience, which will naturally set us apart from all other apps in our sector.

What new services will USPAAH offer in 2016? We are constantly reviewing our menu and thinking about what we can offer to address our clients’ needs. The latest additions have been eyelash extensions and facials, and for 2016, we’re looking at introducing things like spray tan and waxing. Just as soon as I find a portable hot wax kit which doesn’t present a fire hazard! Male grooming is another area of interest for us, as men represent quite a large part of our clientele, so you could soon see our mobile barbers around town.

What about the new app and web features? I’m very excited about the new features that are in store for 2016, and I believe they will really improve our user experience. For example, you’ll be able to pick your favorite Spaahristas and easily book any service in advance with just a couple of clicks. For us, customer ease and convenience is a priority and we keep that in mind with everything we design. Keep an eye also on our blog, as we introduce a new series, #Spaathome with business and fashion leaders in London, and we get a glimpse of their hectic but refined lifestyles.

Lastly, what would you wish for USPAAH’s clients and Spaahristas in 2016? For our clients, I wish a year filled with health, happiness, success and blissful treatments delivered by USPAAH, and for our Spaahristas, a successful, exciting and prosperous 2016 in which we continue to build our community of trusted professionals who truly represent and uphold our values and principles to the best of their abilities.
