LFW Blog Main

London Fashion Week turned up the forget-me-not factor this season, with some of the boldest of beauty looks to accompany a magnificent roster of party dresses, street wear and floral delights. Below, our favourite beauty moments of LFW SS18 and how to rock the runway look for yourself.

PRETTY PONIES

Erdem Hair

This year, Erdem went for the prettiest of ponytails. Low-slung styles were given a retro spin, courtesy of a vintage style soft curl, and large black tied at the nape of the neck. Not only a great way to make a ponytail high fashion, but if it’s good enough for Erdem then it’s good enough for us. Cheat your way to red carpet ready hair and buy this velvet bow hairband (£11).

CRAZY FOR CAT-EYES

Versace-Eyes

When it comes to more is more, Versus Versace get it every time. This year, Charlotte Tilbury painted the eyelids of the runway models with bolder and darker rimming’s of black kohl for a braver edge. Try this look at home with her Rock ‘N’ Kohl liner in Bedroom Black (£19). Feline is fun after all.

A TEMPERLEY SUMMER

Alice Temperley’s collection delivered itself like a tropical summer vacation, spent far away from the city of London. The looks consisted of vibrant lips in hues of orange and ruby’s, cheekbones adorned with highlighter, and head ties detailed with the brightest and boldest of patterns. We’re talking Mykononian vibes right here… Get the look with M.A.C’s Amplified lipstick (£15.50).

MAGNIFICENT METALLICS

Macdonald Metallic Nails

Not one to shy away from glitters, gold’s and all things metallic, Julien Macdonald’s collection didn’t disappoint. With a show that saw the likes of Victoria’s Secret angel Alessanda Ambrossio sashay down the runway in lashings of deep metallic blue mesh and rope, the manicures to match oozed glamour. Long pointed nails, and gold glittering coats of colour could be seen on the models, so we suggest you try Smith & Cult’s glittered varnish Shattered Soulds (£19). Once you pop this bottle you won’t be able to stop.
